Ms. Lizzie Lorene Wilburn, age 63 of Carrollton died Sunday, June 20, 2010. Ms. Wilburn was born May 14, 1947 the daughter of the late Ernest Lee Wilburn and Lena Smith Wilburn. She was a member of North Point Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Mary Ann Wilburn, brothers, Hulit Cox and Steve Cox all of Carrollton. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Harvey Wilburn. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 2 pm from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Lewis and Rev. Steve Lester officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 1 to 2 pm. Pallbearers include Mike Smith, Eddie Fallon, Junior Smith, Calvin Smith, Nick Stottlar and Richard Smith. Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
