Mrs. Jackie McCombs, 61, of Carrollton, GA passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2011. Mrs. McCombs was born in Clanton, AL on April 13, 1950, the daughter of the late Marvin T. Minor and Lois Hill Minor. She was a homemaker and member of Corinth Baptist Church in Trussville, AL. Survivors include her husband, John McCombs, daughters and sons-in-law, Andrea and Michael Lawson and Shellie and Cliff Eldred all of Carrollton, grandchildren, Zachary and Jacob Lawson, Kaytlin, Conner, and Gracey Eldred, sisters, Patsy Weaver, Alene McMurray both of Milton, FL, Connie Potter of Athens, GA, and Peggy McGee of Newnan, GA. Graveside services will be Sunday at 2 P. M. at Carroll Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday from 12 noon until 1:30 p. m.
