Mr. Clarence Howard "C.H." Jackson, age 99 of Carrollton, Georgia died Friday, August 29, 2014. Mr. Jackson was born in Washington County, Georgia on May 7, 1915, the son of the late James Butler Jackson and Mattie Bedingfield Jackson. He retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company where he worked as a construction superintendent and was a member of Southern Bell Pioneers and Tabernacle Baptist Church. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Penni Jackson of Carrollton; daughter-in-law, Helen Jackson of Carrollton; sister, Mary Jackson Smith; grandchildren, Crystal Jackson and Jessica Polk, Renee and Russell Brown, Shanna and Randy Mills, Brandi Guice, Tommy Jackson, Jr. Shannon Jackson, Leann Johnson; and numerous great grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Knight Jackson; son, Tommy Jackson, Sr., Brother, Lamar Jackson and sister, Boots Raines. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 2 from 2 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held.
