William Cole "Bill" Seaton died on June 20, 2026. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Hilliard Clay Seaton and Virginia Cole Seaton of Carrollton, Georgia.

He attended Carrollton City Schools and was a graduate of the Carrollton High School Class of 1966. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Math from West Georgia College, now the University of West Georgia in 1972. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

As a Carrollton resident, he was the owner operator of Eagle Outdoor Advertising and contributed to his community through various civic groups. He was a member of the Carrollton Rotary Club where he was a past president and named a Paul Harris Fellow. He was also a charter member of the Dawnbreakers Rotary Club. Bill was involved in the development of the present location of the West Georgia Technical College Buffalo Creek Technology Park.

Bill was an avid tennis player. He was a member of the United States Tennis Association and participated in many tournaments. He later moved to Bozeman, Montana where he enjoyed hiking and snow skiing. He was employed on staff at Big Sky Resort, Big Sky, Montana where he earned a position on the Professional Ski Patrol Team.

Bill is survived by sons Michael William Seaton of Atlanta, and David Cole Seaton, daughter-in-law Sara Seaton, and granddaughter Madelynn Clare Seaton of Killeen, Texas, daughter Makenzie Seaton of Portland, Oregon, sister Ann Seaton Fletcher and brother-in -law Johnny Fletcher of Carrollton, nephews John Fletcher of Carrollton, Clay Fletcher of Orlando, Florida, niece Maggie Fletcher Farchette of Wichita, Kansas, and many Seaton cousins

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2 PM in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home.

At the invitation of Big Sky Resort, at a later date, there will be a service of remembrance to honor Bill's life held on his beloved Montana Mountain.
