Mr. Warren Gary Coleman (Gary) Of Whitesburg Ga, lost his battle against Alzheimer's disease on Jan. 3, 2121. He was born May 14, 1942, as the only child of Oscar and Berta (Betty) Coleman. He is survived by 2 children, Debbie DiMercurio of Suwanee, and Allison Coleman VanDeGriek Of Washago, Ontario Canada, and had one son Michael Julian Coleman (Mike) who predeceased him. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren Nicole DiMercurio and Abigail DiMercurio, ex-wife Patricia Berry (Trica) of Whitesburg, as well as his best friend of 70 years, Richard Scott Hill and his wife Carol Hill, also of Whitesburg. He will be dearly missed. Mr. Coleman was a real estate developer in his prime. In his later years he worked in his passion Motorcycle racing on the Moto GP race circuit, and even did some modeling in his day. He was very involved in the creation of a park in Gwinnett County now known as Little Mulberry Park. The park and its 409 acres were once the Coleman family home. Mr. Coleman not only helped clear the land and create the 50 acre lake, it was he who named the park. Though originally it was "Little Mulberry Farm". The buildings still on the park property were once his home, workshop and guesthouse. He was a giving man who helped many people in his lifetime. He was a free spirit who would try anything if only to say he'd done it. He loved playing pranks and doing simply silly things "just because". He was always doing something and could often be found working in his shop on his car collection or driving around his most recently purchased "toy" motorcycle or car. Mr. Coleman was laid to rest beside his parents and his son at Arlington Cemetery in Sandy Springs, Ga. Sunday Jan 10. For more info: call Allison 770-668-6404.
