Wanda Cone Mrs. Wanda Williams Cone, age 61 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Monday, June 30, 2014. Mrs. Cone was born in Birmingham, AL on October 11, 1952 to Charles A. Williams and Louise McLendon Williams. Mrs. Cone was a preschool teacher. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Jessica Cone; parents, Charles A. and Louise McLendon Williams all of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, LouAnne (Lucy) and Arthur Yancey of Birmingham, AL; brother, David C. Williams of Brandon, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cone. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 2 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. In keeping with Mrs. Cone's wishes her body will be cremated.
