Virginia "Pete" Maxwell Heilbroun, age 69 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018. Virginia was born in Carrollton, Georgia on June 6, 1949, the daughter of the late Robert Garfield Maxwell and Mina Adella Walker Maxwell. She worked as a Pharmacy Tech for over 50 years, working for several drug stores including, Robinson Drugs, Miles Drugs and CVS Pharmacy. She was a member of Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her family, hummingbirds, flowers, and motorcycle riding. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Allan and Patty Heilbroun of Concord, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Kris Childers of Bowdon; grandchildren, Katherine and Johnathon Heilbroun; sister and brother-in-law, Helen and William Threadgill of Carrollton and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Nell Entrekin and a brother, Max Maxwell. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Marlin Miller and Rev. Tac Coley officiating. Her body will lie in state from 10 a.m. until service time. Music will be provided by Heaven's Echoes. Pallbearers will be Merlin Caldwell, Greg Threadgill, Bruce Bozick, Jarrod Maxwell, Scott Eidson, James Archer and Steve Cook. Interment will be in the Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
