Mrs. Virginia Redd Harris, age 96 of Carrollton, Georgia died Friday, January 29, 2016. Mrs. Harris was born in Fulton County, Georgia on June 7, 1919, the daughter of the late Hence Brown Ramsey and Natalie Jones Ramsey. She was a retired secretary having worked at Real Estate West and was a member of the Georgia Power Ambassadors, Grace Sunday School class and the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Nadine Eaton Redd of Anaheim, California and four grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Redd; second husband, Virgil Calloway Harris, Jr. and son, Randy Redd. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 6 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30pm at Almon Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be Saturday, February 6 at 2 p.m. at Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Henry Tyson officiating.
