Mrs. Verna Marie Burk, age 76, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023.

She was born on June 10, 1947 in Vico County, Indiana, the daughter of the late Ira Smith and Alta Braner Smith.

Mrs. Burk retired after 35 years from Sony and 12 years from the City of Carrollton Recreation Department. She was a member of Beta Signa Phi, Officer for Georgia State Bowling and Bremen Church of Christ.

In accordance with her wishes her body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
