Trudy Duke Kelley, age 73, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Trudy was born on October 23, 1951, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Dallis Rudolph Duke and Shirley Odessa Bates Duke. She earned an Associate's degree and dedicated her life to caring for others through her work in the healthcare field.

Known affectionately as "Sweet Mammie," Trudy's greatest joy came from her family. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always ready with a sweet word or a warm hug. She loved watching television, tending to her plants, and working in her yard—even when it wasn't easy. Her passion for dancing and her spirited personality left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Brandon (Stephanie) Crews and Bruce Kelley; her beloved grandchildren, Emily (Quentin) Meherg, Demi Crews, and Dallas Crews; and her great-grandchildren, Rhett, Ryder, and Reid Meherg. She also leaves behind her dear sisters, Jan Griffin, Wileene Hortman, Theresa Valentine, and Melissa Duke.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Holly Baird; and her brother, Larry Burson.

A private family service will be held at Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
