Mr. Tearence Lee "T. L." (Rat) Wilson, age 78 of Roopville, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019. Mr. Wilson was born in Randolph County, AL on September 8, 1940 the son of the late Harvey Lee Wilson and Diamont Gertrude Sheets Bennett. He was the retired owner of Arco Signs in Carrollton, GA. and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He is survived by his children, sons and daughters-in-law, Dale Robinson, Kerry (Melissa) Robinson both of Carrollton, GA, daughter, Donna Hancock of Destin, FL, son and daughter-in-law, Kent (Debbie) Wilson of Carrollton, GA, daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Wilson (Ken Harrison) of Destin, FL, son, Rance Wilson of Carrollton, GA, son and daughter-in-law, Lance (Misty) Wilson of Franklin, GA; grandchildren, Nicole (Nikki), Whitney, Chris, Kyle, Zeke, Kimberly, Nicole, Sara, Quincey, Christy, Michael, Steven, Tyler, Maddie, and Parker and many great grandchildren; brothers, Ezra "Buster" Wilson and Jessie Ray Wilson; sister and brother-in-law, Glenda (Dan) Adams, sister-in-law, Vickie Terrell, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Betty (Hulett) Jiles and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Barnelle Wilson; daughter, Kelly Robinson Tatum, and sister, Patricia "Cricket" Fulghum. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 2 P.M. with Pastor John Lemmings and Rev. Ronnie Puckett officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the church from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be members of his family. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
