Tim Pollard, age 45, of Atlanta passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2011. Tim was born in Carrollton on October 28, 1965. He was the son of Larry and Pat Pollard and Ann and Dean Parker, all of Carrollton. He was an honor graduate of Carrollton High School and graduated Cum laude with a degree in History from the State University of West Georgia. Survivors include his parents, a brother and sister-in-law, Brad and Misty Pollard and brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Michelle Parker, nieces Sara Catherine Pollard and Alyssa Parker, aunts and uncles, Sue and John Ellison, LeDoris and Fred Chandler, Sheila Pollard, Jane and J. L. Goldin, Tyrone and Joan Collins, and Ronald and Janice Williams and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sara and Hubert Pollard and Evelyn and Ike Goldin, and an uncle, Richard Pollard and a cousin, Mark Chandler. There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2 o'clock at West Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Wendall Rush and Dr. Paul Harthern officiating. Music will be furnished by the Servers.
