Mr. Thomas Isaac "Ike" Latimer, age 71 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014. Mr. Latimer was born in Carrollton, Georgia on February 19, 1942, the son of the late Samuel Ray Latimer and Susie Ezma Ricks Latimer. He owned and operated Ike's Sales and Service and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Patricia G. Latimer; sons, Stephen Thomas Latimer, Christopher Ray Latimer, Jeffery Allen and Kelli Lee Rayan Latimer all of Carrollton; grandsons, Jeffery Blake Latimer, Cody Issac Latimer; sister, Janice Astin of Oxford, AL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be Friday, January 17 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Redden and Rev. Bryan Cox officiating. Music will be by the Bobby Boatright Family. Pallbearers will be Tim Boatright, Glenn Hill, Dean Akers, Jerry Latimer, David Latimer and Scott Pope. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Amedisys Hospice of Newnan, 1825 Hwy. 34 E, Suite 2200, Newnan, GA 30265.
