Mrs. Sybil Jean Hill McIntosh, age 71 of Robinson Street, Waco, Georgia died Thursday, October 16, 2014. Mrs. McIntosh was born in Perry County, Alabama on June 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Henry D. Hill and Stella Mae Fondren Hill. She was a homemaker and member of Faith Full Gospel Church. She is survived by her husband, Wallace McIntosh; daughters and sons-in-law, Sylvia and Michael New of Attalla, Alabama, April and Tommy Shirey of Carrollton; sons and daughters-in-law, William and Linda McIntosh, Jr. of Clem, Marcus and Cathy McIntosh of Carrollton; brothers, Roy Glen Hill, Adolph Hill, Travis Hill, Darrell Hill, Sammy Hill, Jerry Hill; sisters, Nadine Robinson, Shirley Wynn and 12 grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carlos Hill; grandsons, Michael James Wallace New, Matthew Caleb New and Micah Isaiah New. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Sunday, October 19 at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. J.W. Daniel and Rev. Gene Griffith officiating. Music will be by her grandchildren and Kathy Roberts. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren; Josh Shirey, Leighanna Shirey, Jamie McIntosh, Miranda New, Brittany McIntosh, Jennifer Shirey, Marissa New and Jessica Shirey. Grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cody Gore, Alana New, Destiny New, Jaylon New, Morgan New and Malia New. Interment will be in Camp Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
