Mrs. Marvis Sue Ragsdale Staples, age 73, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, November 24, 2023. She was born in Carroll County, Georgia on January 10, 1950, the daughter of the late Marvin Ragsdale and Margie Helton Ragsdale.

Mrs. Staples was a retired Registered Nurse having worked in nursing homes and was a member of First Christian Church. She found joy in caring for animals, bird-watching, reading, listening to classic country music, and watching crime mysteries.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Earl "Trey" Gordon Staples, III and Kristie; grandchildren, Christian Staples, Preston Staples; daughter, Jenny Parker; granddaughter, Mary Jane Parker; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Courtney Staples; grandchildren, Rhys Staples, Sullivan Staples, Layton Staples; sister, Deena Hand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gordon Staples, Jr.

No services are being planned at this time.
