Mr. Steven Robert Redolfi, 73, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on March 1, 2025. He was born on March 15, 1951, in Litchfield, Illinois, to the late Joseph Mario Redolfi and Agnes Crookston Love Redolfi. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Raymond Pavichevich. He married Rita on June 4, 1988, and they celebrated 36 years together.

Steve was a proud graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History. He spent his career in the hospitality industry, serving as a dedicated hotel manager. He opened the Holiday Inn Express of Carrollton in 1996, with the title of General Manager until 2017. A true history buff, Steve loved researching and sharing family history, often posting his findings on Facebook. He was an avid reader, enjoyed listening to big band music, and cherished the companionship of his beloved dogs, Nala, Fred, and Bert.

He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Redolfi; daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth (David) Smith; son, Steven Anthony Redolfi; and his adored granddaughters, Kennli Ray Smith, Kyler Blake Smith, and Kohen Jay Smith. He also leaves behind his sister, Elaine (Kevin) Gray; brother, William Joseph (Jean) Redolfi; several nieces and nephews; as well as honorary daughter, Ashley Taylor, and honorary son, Allen Howard.

A Celebration of Life Birthday Party will be held on March 15, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 10 South Hillside Drive, Carrollton, GA 30116. For family and friends in his home town of Gillespie, IL and surrounding area, a Celebration of Life will be held on April 5, 2025 at a time and location to be determined.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Carroll County Animal Shelter, 251 Automation Drive, Carrollton, GA 30117 or Roopville Road Baptist Church Outreach Ministry, 835 N. Hwy 27, Roopville, GA 30170 in Steve's memory.
