Mr. Stanley Bruce Hall, age 76, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022. He was born in Devils Lake, North Dakota on April 11, 1945, the son of the late Stanley Bulson Hall and Elizabeth Camilla Clarke Hall. He served in the US Air Force and was a member of the American Legion and the Air Force ROTC. He worked at numerous places with his first being a chemist for PPG, after this he returned to college and went directly to work for NASA where he worked on the space station in Houston, Texas; the US Navy in New Orleans, Louisiana; the main office of SAIC in San Diego, California; the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, Georgia, and Southwire in Carrollton, Georgia as a senior computer programmer analyst. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved going to the Temple. He had multiple church callings with his favorite being teaching the children. Bruce enjoyed many hobbies; he took flying lessons and his first solo flight at age 15. He participated in scuba diving before the age of 20. He enjoyed 100-mile long bike rides down the California coast and up Iron Mountain with his buddy. He participated in a charity ride for the research of MS through the California desert. He loved making paracord jewelry, cooking and barbequing, and sci-fi movies and books. Although he loved and enjoyed many things, he had a special love for his children and grandchildren and loved playing video games with them. Survivors include his wife, Connie Caldwell Hall, sons, Jai B. Hall (Jodi), Joshua E. Brandin, Jonathon B. Hall; daughters, Erryn K. Goodin (Joshua), Rebekah M. Monroe (Jarrod), Phyllicia A. Goff (Benjamin); Dimitry K. Alriche (Karla) who he loved like a son; 12 grandchildren; brothers, Robert W. "Bill" Hall, Bernard "Al" Hall; sisters, Betty A. Highfill, E. Jean Sturlaugson, Rose E. Hutchison and numerous nephews and nieces. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Saturday, March 5, 2022, with Bishop Corky Whipple officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service hour. Interment will be in Carroll Memory Gardens with American Legion Post#143 providing military honors.
