Mrs. Shirley Ann Pittenger, age 87, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. She was born in Newton, New Jersey on July 25, 1935, the daughter of the late Edmond Johnson and Alma Groppe Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church of

Branchville, NJ.

She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Kelly, Kathy Jones (Ty); grandchildren, Wesley Smith, Dustin Jones; 2 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Harold Pittenger; brother, Ed Johnson.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Her ashes will be buried at Branchville Cemetery in New Jersey at a later date.
