Shirley Ann Emanuel, age 82, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Born on March 21, 1942, in Carroll County, Georgia, Shirley was the beloved daughter of the late Irene Reese Wilder and William Bernard Wilder.

Shirley was a homemaker and member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She shared 60 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Elroy Emanuel. Together, they built a loving and close-knit family that was the source of immense joy and pride for Shirley throughout her life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Suzy Montalto and her husband Jimmy, and Matthew Emanuel; her grandchildren, Nick Montalto, Brodie Montalto, Blake Woodall, Justin Woodall, Kayson Emanuel; her siblings, Barbara Gilstrap, Radford Wilder and his wife Kathy, and Amos Wilder and his wife Teressa. Shirley is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and warmth.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Christi and Barry Woodall; grandchild, Brennan Emanuel; and her sister, Diann Baldwin.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 2 PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery.
