Mrs. Shelby Jean Rowland Harrison age 85, of Ephesus, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024.

Mrs. Harrison was born on April 24, 1939 in Gwinnett County, Georgia the daughter of the late Thomas William Rowland and Maggie Marie Ledford Rowland. She worked for Carrollton Furniture Refinishing where she found her love for antiques. One of her greatest joys was waiting on her family and grandchildren hand and foot. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Ray Gosdin of Ephesus, Georgia; sisters, Brenda Reed (Gary), Linda Parker (David); grandchildren, Holly Gibson (Stephen), Tate Gosdin (Natalie), Autumn Gainey (Jorden); great grandchildren, Kayla Noojin, Bentley Gibson, Jackson Gosdin, Harrison Gainey, Whit Smith and 2 great great grandchildren on the way; stepsons, Dale Harrison (Patricia), Bren Harrison (Susie) and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Prince James Harrison; daughter, Deborah Lynn Adams; siblings, Verona Johnson, Princine Johnson, Charlene Rowland, Doug Rowland, James Rowland, Jerome Rowland, Larry Rowland and Michael Rowland.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11 am from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Meeks and Tate Gosdin officiating.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday from 10 am until the service hour.

Members of the family will serve as pallbearers.

Interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
