The beautiful soul of Sharon Inman Tisinger, of Carrollton, left this earth on October 29, 2025.

Sharon was born on April 19, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Ouida and John Inman. She grew up with three wonderful sisters, Susan Inman Newman, Sandra Inman Webster, and Ouida Inman, in a happy and loving home.

Sharon graduated from North Springs High School in 1974 where she was the feature baton twirler for all four of her high school years. Before graduating college, she worked as a Lifeguard, swimming instructor, sales clerk at Neiman Marcus, and as a police department liaison to the FBI on their joint files.

She grew up as an active member of Druid Hills Baptist Church. Being a person of strong faith, Sharon transferred her church membership to "Old Victory Church" in Bowdon, Georgia, where she enjoyed 30 years of worship, service, and participation on many committees.

Sharon attended West Georgia College, graduating in 1978 with a degree in Nursing (from the 2nd graduating class of the newly formed Nursing School receiving her Registered Nurse Certificate). While in college, she was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and was also a basketball cheerleader for Coach Roger Kiser's National Championship Team.

After graduation, Sharon worked as a nurse for Tanner Memorial Hospital for 10 years. Then, in 1988, she began her career for Saint Joseph Hospital in Atlanta, caring for heart disease and open-heart surgery patients. She also returned to the University of West Georgia and earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2010, she transferred to Radiation Oncology at Saint Joseph Hospital where she continued to work until her recent illness.

Sharon also worked as a Nurse Paralegal at Tisinger, Tisinger, Vance and Greer from 1988 until 2004. This is where she met the love of her life, David Tisinger. In 1995, Sharon and David married and began a life full of love and happiness. They shared many adventures, including traveling to Europe and to the Caribbean. Sharon became a "First Mate" of sailing trips with David and friends, and she was known as the Anchor Girl. They also became caretakers of the family farm where her nursing skills excelled while taking care of goats, cattle, and the land. But, her biggest loves were her Great Pyrenees Guard dogs.

Her love of travel and hiking began when she was in college. Sharon traveled the globe and took great pleasure in planning her adventures. She was especially proud to have completed the Camino de Santiago in Spain, walking there on 2 occasions with dear friends.

Sharon was an intelligent, energetic, personable, dedicated, determined, and lovable individual who always gave her best effort with a smiling and positive attitude. Whenever she undertook a job, task, or position, Sharon ultimately took charge of getting things done. She took great pride in everything she performed. This made her lovable to coworkers, family, and friends alike. Many times, the patients whom she cared for sent her letters of gratitude. Sharon had a deep love for her family. She was always willing to take time and go the extra mile for all her loved ones. She went to great lengths to organize an annual Florida family vacation to ensure her sisters, grandchildren, nephews and their families shared quality time together creating special lifelong memories. Sharon lived a happy, loving, and useful life impacting all of those who came in contact with her, including family, patients, coworkers, and friends. She truly was a beautiful soul. There is one more angel in Heaven today!

She is survived by her husband, David Tisinger; her stepsons, John David Tisinger and Joel (Erica) Tisinger; her grandchildren, Harrison and Ann Holland Tisinger; her sisters, Susan Newman, Sandra (Jim) Webster, and Ouida Inman; her nephews, Dr. John Newman, Jacob Newman, Jamie Webster, and Glenn Webster, and their children; her cousin, Teresa Felder Scoggins; and her half brother, John Franklin Inman III. Sharon is also survived by her beloved dog, Kinzi.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her half sister, Virginia Ann Inman Colvin, and her brother-in-law, Mathew Eric Newman.

The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 2pm until 4pm.

A Celebration of Sharon's life will be held Monday, November 3, 2025, at 2pm at the Carrollton First Methodist Church with Pastor Cliff Harris and Pastor Travis Snead officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of Carrollton First Methodist Church.

Honorary pallbearers will be her co-workers from Tanner, Emory St. Joseph, and Tisinger Vance.
