Mrs. Sarah Patsy Diane Cherry Hannah, age 58 of Whitesburg, Georgia died Thursday, January 8, 2015. Mrs. Hannah was born in Fulton County, Georgia on December 31, 1956, the daughter of the late Willie Lee Self and Fannie Mae Clark Self. Survivors include her sons, Christopher (Patricia) Hazelrig, Steven (Missy Horsley) Cherry; grandchildren, Erin Cherry, Stephanie Cherry, Alex Cherry, Brittany (Michael Garrison) Hazelrig, Courtney (Tyler Crump) Hazelrig, Christopher Hazelrig, Blake Cherry, Stevie Cherry, Harley Cherry; great grandchildren, Mikilin Hazelrig and Ellie Cherry. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Self. The family will like to express their appreciation to the staff of Pine Knoll Nursing Home and Bristol Hospice for the care they gave Sarah. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 24 at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Alvin Hunnicutt officiating.
