Obituary

Mrs. Ruth Todd Carter, age 93, of Carrollton, Georgia, peacefully passed away in her sleep on Friday, January 26, 2024.

Born in Carroll County, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late John Thomas Todd, Sr. and Lillie Lee Todd. She also faithfully attended Pleasant View Baptist Church, where her husband and children were members. Known for her quiet and gentle demeanor, she was an encourager who consistently wore a warm smile.

Todd, Jr. and Myrle Todd; sister, Bernice Pilgrim; and brothers-in-law, Damon Carter and Don Grantham.

The family expresses deep gratitude for the excellent care Mrs. Carter received from Wesley Woods of Newnan/Memory Care Unit nursing staff and Dr. Stan W. Smith.
