Mr. Parrish was born in Carrollton on January 2, 1948, the son of the late Jimmie V. Parrish and Gladys Whitehead Parrish. He owned and operated Auto Body Specialist body shop. Survivors include his son, Jimmy Parrish of Carrollton and two grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Pruitt and brother, Billy Parrish. Funeral service will be Friday, January 16, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Elder Tommy Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Friday one hour prior to the service.
