Mr. Ronald Allen Hardin,70, of Fairfield Plantation, Green Court, Villa Rica, GA passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011. Mr. Hardin was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 15, 1940, the son of the late William LaRue Hardin and Lovella Marie Lowe Hardin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired from the US Can Company as an Human Resource Director. Mr. Hardin was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include his wife, Susan M. Hardin, sons and daughter-in-law, Jeffery and Heather Hardin of Maple Shade, NJ, James John Hardin of Black Mountain, NC, daughter, Judith Hardin of Newnan, sister, Marion Anderson of Westland, Michigan and several beloving aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Motz, William Hardin, Jr., Richard Hardin, and sister, Marlene Leahy. Memorial services will be Sunday, January 9 at 2 P. M. at the Carrollton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jan Tolbert officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 p. m. until 7 p.m. According to Mr. Hardin's wishes, his body was cremated.
