Mr. Robert James Smith, age 89 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. Mr. Smith was born in South Bend, Indiana, the son of the late Clarence Holbrook Smith and Conradine Lucille Collins Smith. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and retired from ETM Enterprises as a sales engineer. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Kathy Smith of Roopville, Richard and Denise Smith of Kokomo, IN; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, William D. Smith and a sister, Barbara Wharton. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret May Smith; brother, Richard L. Smith and daughter, Marilyn Salvati.
