Mr. Ricky Gene White, age 56, of Ranburne, AL passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014. Mr. White was born in Geneva, AL the son of James Franklin White and Annie Ruth Sanders White. He was a veteran of the US Army and worked as a Truck Driver for Jones Transportation. He also enjoyed Alabama Football, Fishing and Oldies Music. Survivors include his wife, Dawne Sanders White; daughter, Aleisha White (Scott) Morgan of Ranburne, AL; son, Matthew White of Huntsville, AL; parents, James Franklin and Annie Ruth Sanders White of Dothan, AL; sister and brother-in-law, Vickie Susan (Dennis Eugene) Weems of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Lauren Bradbary, Hunter Morgan, Gia White and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, July 20, 2014 at 3 p.m. (EST) at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3920 County Rd. 48, Ranburne, AL 36273 with Rev. Chad Burdette officiating. Inurnment will be in Dothan, AL at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the D White Special Account at BB&T.
