Donna Rena Maxwell, age 60, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026.

Rena was born on January 4, 1966, in Carroll County, Georgia, to the late Max Maxwell and Peggy Barnes Maxwell. She spent much of her life working in the restaurant industry, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic.

A member of Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church, Rena found great joy in her faith. She especially cherished time spent in Bible study, both with her mother before her passing and alongside close friends. Rena also had a deep love for horses, which brought her much happiness throughout her life.

She is survived by numerous cousins who will remember her fondly and her good friend, Melanie Denney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Maxwell.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 2 PM at Carroll Memory Gardens, with Dr. John Pennington officiating.
