Mrs. Reba H. Spence, age 94, of Red Oak Trail, Carrollton died Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Mrs. Spence was born in Clarke County on January 22,1916, the daughter of the late K. A. Hill and Lelia James Hill. She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Connie and Howard Brock of Athens, Brenda Reeves of Carrollton, Gloria Davis of Danielsville; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Virginia Spence of Carrollton; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Johnny Moore of Warner Robins; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Spence, two sisters and four brothers. Funeral services will be Friday, August 20, 2010 at 1pm from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with the Rev. Woodrow Hudson and Rev. Larry Insko officiating. Pallbearers will be Scott Eason, Ken Brock, Patton Davis, Martin Davis, Jeff Merrell and Scott Merrell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6 to 8 pm.
