Mr. Claude Randall Muse, age 70, of Whitesburg, Georgia passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024.
Randall was born on December 7, 1953 in Newnan, Georgia the son of the late Benjamin Claude Muse and Sarah Magdalene Mapp Muse. He was a graduate of Central High School Class of 1971 where he was named Mr. CHS and most likely to succeed. He started painting at the age of 10 and was a fabulous artist. He painted the image of the Central Lion Mascot that is still used today. He owned and operated Cohen Hair Salon in Tucker, Georgia and was a licensed esthetician and expert cosmetologist with a mastery in theatrical makeup. He was a very creative man. From interior design in the home or in the yard he excelled in anything he did. He was a fabulous chef and loved entertaining people. Some of his favorite hobbies included riding horses and bass fishing.
Survivors include his partner, Toney Lamar Cohen; sisters, Judy Muse Terrell, Scarlet Muse Dornbush and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Muse Bradley.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Almon Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to help pay for his funeral expenses in care of his partner Toney Cohen.
A graveside service and interment will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at 12 Noon at Shadowlawn Cemetery, 112 Oak Ln, LaGrange, GA 30241.
