Mr. Phillip Richard Cromer, age 70, of Temple, Georgia peacefully passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 after a long battle with Lewy body dementia, Parkinson's disease and diabetes. He was born on November 7, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late, Richard Carl Cromer and Ruth Glen Cromer.

He attended Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, Ohio. Throughout his career, Phillip worked as an I.B.E.W. electrician and later served as a Project Manager, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and strong work ethic.

Phil was a dog lover who took his beloved Yorkie, Boogie, with him as he travelled on many jobs throughout the United States. He loved gardening and always took pride in maintaining a beautiful yard at their home that included many beautiful flowers. He will be greatly missed by his wife, family and friends.,

Phillip is survived by his wife of 27 years, Mickie Cromer; stepdaughters, Misty (Sam) Ftorek of Bedford, New Hampshire and their children Ariana, Savo and Mason; Mallory (Mike) Bagwell of Temple, Georgia and their children Laythen, Carlie, Trey, and Lani; sister, Suzan Ruth Cromer Barkley of Valrico, Florida and her two children, Samuel Custer Barkley IV, Allison Elizabeth Barkley; and his niece by marriage, Tammy Abernathy who was a dear friend and helped care for Phil.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for Phil and will be announced at a later date.

The family requests that, in lieu of traditional arrangements, flowers or plants for the yard would be greatly appreciated in honor of Phil, who took great pride in maintaining a beautiful yard and enjoyed its lifelong beauty.
