Mrs. Patsy Ann Stephens, age 58 of Brock Street, Carrollton died Thursday, December 31, 2009. Mrs. Stephens was born in Carroll County on December 9, 1951, the daughter of the late George Willie "Bill" Hornsby and Lillian Lucille Gibbs Hornsby. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. Survivors include her husband, Ray Stephens of Carrollton; daughter and son-in-law, Nichole and David Kite of Carrollton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Billie Joyce and Hugh Lee Huckeba of Carrollton; Margaret Ellen and Ray Morris of Buchanan; Linda Lucille and Jimmy Bowling of Bremen; 6 nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Christy Michelle Couch. Funeral service will be Saturday, January 2 at 4p.m. at the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Bonner and Rev. Donald McIntosh officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour. Pallbearers will be Ricky Frady, Stan Cates, Mike Huckeba, Matt Terrell, Ray Morris and Jimmy Bowling. Interment will be in the Carrollton City Cemetery.
