Patricia Maureen Roberts, age 91, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

Mrs. Pat, as she was known by generations of students in West Georgia, was born on July 1, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise Reid.

She earned a Masters of Education degree from the University of West Georgia and devoted her career to teaching in the Carroll County School System serving students in Bowdon, Mt Zion, and Carroll Central schools.

Patricia was a faithful member of the Catholic faith and touched the lives of many through her dedication to education, family, and the community.

Patricia is survived by her sons Matt and Greg Roberts; her devoted daughter-in-law Penny Roberts; her grandchildren Courtney Roberts (Kali), Cait Lowe (Jeremy), Matthew Johns (Kara), Abbey Evans (Brett), Amanda Roberts, Stephanie Roberts, and Rebecca Wallach (LeAnne); and ten great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Roberts, her siblings Kathy Harrison, Margie Brewster, Ed Reid, and Anne Reid, and her son, Mike Roberts.

The family will receive friends from 10AM until 11AM on July 25th at the Almon Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will follow at 11AM in the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Wimberly officiating.

A private family inurnment will be held in the cemetery at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
