Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Patricia Ann Richards Troutt, age 86, of Miami, Florida.

Patricia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 29, 1937, in Montgomery, Alabama, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late John Ed Richards and Loray Thompson Richards.

Her early career saw her contributing to the community at First National Bank of Montgomery. Later, she moved to Florida, where she embarked on a distinguished career with Florida Power and Light. Patricia's life was a testament to love and generosity. She was a devoted family woman who found immense joy in the company of her grandchildren. Her beautiful smile and generous spirit touched all who knew her.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Karyn Arellano, and her son, Gary Troutt. She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Erick Hernandez, Elyssa Hernandez, Alan James Arellano, and Evan Arellano. She is also survived by her dear sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and Mike Brantley, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will all cherish her memory. In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Paul Troutt, and her son-in-law, Alan Arellano.

Patricia's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family will forever be remembered and celebrated by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5 – 9 PM at Almon Funeral Home, 548 Newnan Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117. A prayer service will be at 7pm.

A graveside service and interment will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 2pm(EST)/1pm(CST) at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
