Mr. Norris Williamson, age 93 of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024.

He was born in Carroll County, Georgia on January 8, 1931 and was the son of the late Robert Williamson and Minnie Williamson. He served his country with distinction for over 20 years, retiring from the US Air Force on June 30, 1973. He has lived in Ringgold, Georgia since 2001 and was a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Ft. Oglethorpe. He was a patriot, loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and loving friend. He will be greatly missed by everyone.

Survivors include his daughter, Ann, two sons, Robbie (Judy), and David. He has been blessed with four grandchildren, Kristina, Joshua, Samantha, and Glenn as well as four great grandchildren, Aailyah, Jaquelyn, Maya, and Ryker. He leaves two brothers, Garland (Marie) and Billy Williamson (Cathy), as well as one sister, Cloma Chandler. He also leaves behind a very dear and close friend, Betty Moak. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, his parents, Robert and Minnie Williamson, brothers, William H. "Dub" and Jesse as well as a sister, Lynell Huggins.

His family will receive friends at Parkway Baptist Church, 65 Stuart Road, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm. and at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am until 11am.

Funeral service be Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11am at Almon Chapel with Bro. Steve Gillham officiating.

Interment will be in Bethesda Baptist Church Cemetery with the Air Force Honor Guard providing military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, 65 Stuart Road, Ft. Oglethorpe, GA 30742.
