Mrs. Nell Mae Boleman, age 88 of Carrollton, Georgia died Sunday, February 5, 2017. Mrs. Boleman was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia on February 22, 1928, the daughter of the late Harold Ernest Hicken and Nellie Mae Lovick Hicken. She was retired office clerk from Fireman Fund and was a member of Consolation Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Desmond Boleman, Sr.; sons and daughters-in-law, William "Bill" D. (Maxine) Boleman, Jr., Harry (Claudia) Boleman of Virginia Beach, Virginia; son-in-law, Drayton Callaway of Whitesburg; sisters, Frances, Brenda; brother, Bruce; sister-in-law, Mary Collett of Powder Springs; grandchildren, Anna, Marie, Christopher, Jason, Charlie and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Callaway and brother Buddy Hicken.
