Nancy Maxine Tidwell, age 75, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026..

She was born on April 19, 1951, in Carroll County, Georgia, to the late Gertis Mashburn and the late Viola Chives Mashburn.

Nancy was deeply passionate about helping others and devoted more than 20 years of her life to working as a certified nursing assistant. Throughout her career, she served in hospitals, nursing homes, and private care, always offering compassion and kindness to those in need. In her free time, Nancy found joy in baking for herself and others, shopping, and spending meaningful time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Yates; son, Jason Yates; sister, Shirley Craft; grandchildren, Chad Yates, Chasity Yates, and Cameron Teagle; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Yates, Carson Yates, Cambree Yates, and Kayonna Yates.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Norton; and brothers, Wendell Mashburn, G.W. Mashburn, Donald Mashburn, Ray Mashburn, Wayne Mashburn, Wade Mashburn, and James Mashburn.
