Mrs. Nan Hammond Stallings, 80, of Carrollton, GA passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. Mrs. Stallings was born in Carrollton, Georgia on September 28, 1935, the daughter of the late Mr. Hammond and Jenny Harper Hammond. She was a retired school teacher with the Carrollton City School System and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Holly Dean of Carrollton; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Heather Stallings of Osawatomie, Kansas; grandchildren, Austin Dean, Braden Miller and Jade Miller. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton B. Stallings. A graveside memorial services will be Tuesday, April 5 at 2 P. M. at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Chaplin Sam Braswell officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12 noon until 1:45 P. M.
