Mr. Roscoe Williams, age 85 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away, Friday, January 8, 2021. Mr. Williams was born in Bowdon, Georgia on July 25, 1935, the son of the late John Rufus Williams and Sarah Ella Wright Williams. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was the co-owner of West Georgia Printing. Survivors include his children, Charles and Sherrie Williams, Patricia and Jeff Gunnells, Rodney and Laurie Williams all of Carrollton; grandchildren, Russell Williams, Nicholas Gunnells and Jessica and Brian Doran and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Couch Williams; four sisters and five brothers. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Monday, January 11 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am. A graveside service and interment will be held Monday at 11 am at Carroll Memory Gardens with Rev. Anthony Puckett officiating.
