James "Allen" Driver, age 65, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2020. Allen was born on October 19, 1954, the son of the late James William Driver and Lois Davis Morrow Driver. During his working career, he was in the automotive maintenance business, and later, he worked for Kroger in the meat department. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Green; niece, April Jean Green; two great nephews, Kyle Bailey and Jackson White all of Carrollton; as well as several cousins. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Patty Driver, brother, Jerry Lee Driver and brother-in-law, Steve Green. A private graveside service and interment will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Carrollton City Cemetery with Bro. J. W. Daniels officiating. Pallbearers will be Barry Driver, Jackson White, Kenneth Yates, Chris Parson, Charles Rogers, and Kyle Bailey.
