Mr. Matthew Benjamin Wilson age 75, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022. Mr. Wilson was born on April 21, 1947 in Carrollton, Georgia the son of the late Moses Abraham Wilson and Mary Nell Boatwright Wilson. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and later retired from Southwire where he worked as a forklift operator for 31 ½ years. He was a hardworking man and had a passion for the outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, working with his cows on the farm and was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include his wife, Natalie Lynne Baker Wilson; son, Douglas Keith Wilson; grandson, Dylan Wilson and sister-in-law, Nina Baker. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Steven Wilson, Sr. and nephew, Larry Steven Wilson, Jr. A graveside service and interment will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Wilson Chapel Cemetery with Rev.
