Martin Hill, age 78, of Carrollton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025.
Born on July 4, 1947, Martin was the beloved son of the late Harold Hill and Anna May Martin Hill. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy Reserve and later dedicated his career as a Field Service Engineer with Carrier Transicold, where he was respected for his technical skill and steadfast work ethic.
Martin was a devoted member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church where he served in the choir, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his longtime companion Martha Blackmon; his son Brian Hill (Tricia), grandchildren Darby Hill and Kyle Hill; his daughter Laura Glenn (Roger), grandchildren Haley Leek, Haden Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Jameson Glenn, and Samuel Glenn; son Craig Hill (April), grandchildren C.T Hill, Timothy Hill and Jackson Hill; his son Lance Hill (Tara), grandchildren Harrison Hill, Liam Hill and Olivia Hill; in addition to his grandchildren he was a great grandfather to Luke Thomas, Isaac Leek, and Noah Leek.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, brother Joseph Hill and sister Jean Hill Scheetz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Almon Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, with Father Joseph Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at the OLPH Catholic Church Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Kyle Hill, C.T. Hill, Haden Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Jameson Glenn and Samuel Glenn.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made Turning Point USA, 4940 East Beverly Road Phoenix, Arizona, United States 85044.
