Graveside Services for Martha C. Hart, 86, will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, August 20th, 2011, at Carrollton City Cemetery in Carrollton, GA. Family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home one hour before the service. Mrs. Hart passed away Thursday, August 18, 2011. She was born Nov 14th, 1924 in Carrollton, GA . She was the daughter of the late Homennall Carter and Annie Lee Beavers Carter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Allen Christopher Hart, Lt. Col. USAF retired. She was a military wife and a homemaker. A resident of the Waterford Retirement Community in Columbia, SC, she was an avid bridge and canasta player. She was a former active member of St John's United Methodist Church in Atlanta and currently a member of North East Presbyterian Church in Columbia. Mrs. Hart is survived by her son, Chris (Janice) Hart of Destin, FL , daughters, Nancy (Charles, deceased) Mauney of Columbia, SC and Debbie (Larry) Morgan of Swansea, SC, 8 grandchildren and 17 great grand-children.
