Margaret Lipscomb (Nanny) Entrekin died Thursday, April 22, 2010, in Lakeland, Florida. She was born June 17, 1918, in Newnan, Georgia, to Lela Dorrough and John William Lipscomb. When she was a small child, her family moved to Carrollton, Georgia, where she lived until 2003 when she moved to Lakeland, Florida. She was married to the late C. G. Entrekin, Jr. And they were the parents of three children. She is survived by twin daughters, Janice Griffin, Lakeland, Florida, Joyce and Hollis Harris, Peachtree City, Georgia, and one son, C. G. (Cleve) and Kathy Entrekin III, Carrollton, Georgia, and nine grandchildren: Patti Harris Ayers, Peachtree City, David and (Leigh Ann) Harris, Fayetteville, Georgia, Missy and (Mike) Taber, Lakeland, Jeff Harris, Smyrna, Georgia, Andrea and (Steve) Harris, Lakeland, Douglas and (Sheila) Scott, Lakeland, Robert and (Kim) Scott, Las Vegas, Nevada, Aimee and (Kevin) Hull, Franklin, Georgia, and Matthew and (Skye) Entrekin, Carrollton. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren: Nicole Veicht, Rachel Harris (Ben) Ragan, Christopher DuBois, Britton Scott, Michael Harris, Samuel Dubois, Jackson Ayers, Mitchell Ayers, Alli Kate Hull, Caden Entrekin, Hailey Scott, Caden Scott, Ethan Scott, and Carmen Scott. She was preceded in death by great grandson, David L. Harris, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 2 pm from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Agan officiating. Music will be furnished by Louanne Hutcheson and Susan Ingle. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the funeral. Pallbearers will be Jeff Harris, David Harris, Matt Entrekin, Kevin Hull, Doug Scott, and Britton Scott. Interment will follow in Carroll Memory Gardens.
