Mrs. Maeva Jean Barron, age 78 of Chulio Road, Rome, Georgia died Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Mrs. Barron was born in Carroll County on May 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Elbert Clayton and Mary Nell Austin Clayton. She was retired from Piedmont Hospital and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughter, Michaelle Barron Taylor of Cedartown; son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Janice Barron of Cartersville; Lenard Avilla of Hector, Arkansas; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Morris Barron and son, Michael Lanier Barron.
