Mrs. Lynda Smalley Bounds, age 74, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024. She was born on August 25, 1950, in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late William Smalley and Sybil Smalley.

Lynda was a dedicated nurse at Pine Knoll Nursing Home, where her compassion and care touched the lives of many. She was a member of Tyus Baptist Church, where she found comfort and fellowship.

An avid gardener, Lynda was a proud member of the Carroll County Master Gardeners and took great joy in cultivating beautiful gardens. Her love for nature was only matched by her devotion to her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert S. Bounds, Jr.; daughter, Sybil Pritchard; son, James King; stepdaughters, Leigh Ann McPherson and Melinda Spisso; grandchild, Knox King; and brother, Bill Smalley. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sybil Smalley.

A celebration of Lynda's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Tyus Baptist Church Building Fund, 4514 Tyus-Carrollton Rd., Carrollton, GA 30117.

Lynda's legacy of love, care, and devotion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
