Mrs. Lounette C. Hardman, age 86 of Roopville, Georgia passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. Mrs. Hardman was born in Jefferson, Georgia on January 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Charlie Reese Wier and Ida Ester Pinson Wier. She was a retired bank teller with Peoples Bank and a member of Roopville Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Robert and Linda Hardman of Roopville; grandchildren, Katherine H. Chambers, Cassandra Page Patterson, Tessia Ann Hardman, Hunter Wayne Hardman; sister, Inez Standridge of Jefferson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Rogers Hardman and son Wayne Rogers Hardman. Funeral service will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Cooke and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at Almon Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 noon until the service time. Interment will be in Mt. Harmony Memorial Gardens in Mableton, Georgia.
