Lucy and Harold were charter members of Sunset Hills Country Club where Lucy loved honing her crack golfing skills. Lucy was a wonderful cook in the classic Southern tradition, and her buttermilk biscuits and hospitality were legendary. Though she never had children of her own, she delighted in her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. In return, she was beloved for her sweet and generous nature and her gentle sense of humor. After Harold's death in 2003, Lucy moved into Carrollton where she was cared for by the attentive staff of Guardian Angel. Lucy was preceded in death by Harold, her husband of nearly 60 years, her brothers, Manor, Dewey, Cecil, Paul and Clifford Stamps, and her sisters, Mabel Richardson and Ollie Maude Eady.
