Mrs. Letha B. Embry, age 85, of West Wayside Rd., Carrollton, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013. Mrs. Embry was born in Carroll County on February 25, 1927, the daughter of the late Ross B. Bilbo and Sarah Ann Traylor Bilbo. She was a homemaker and a member of Concord Primitive Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Raiford and Phyllis Embry of Carrollton; grandson, Jeffery Embry; great grandchildren, Andrea and Joseph Embry. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elder James Embry; 3 sisters, and 2 brothers. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Almon Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Patterson officiating. Pallbearers are Glenn Hill, O.A. Powers, Ronald Powers, John Powers, David Ballenger and Joseph Embry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Agape Hospice Care, 605 Dixie Street, Carrollton, Ga. 30117.
