Mr. Leon C. Blackmon, age 74 of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017. Mr. Blackmon was born in Haralson County, Georgia on June 28, 1943, the son of the late H.P."Bud" Blackmon and Eria Sanders Blackmon. Mr. Blackmon was a retired truck driver for Republic's Services and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Fay M. Blackmon; daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Steve Hagan; sons and daughter-in-law, Chad Blackmon, Andy and Ashley Blackmon; grandchildren, Peyton Hagan, Sara Kate Blackmon, Derrek Blackmon, Alyson Blackmon and Scarlett Blackmon; sisters, Claudia Thompson and Annice Swann. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Blackmon.
